The Doctor, Delta and the Bannermen: Part Three
If Time and the Rani was something of an outlier in terms of style and quality, the Seventh Doctor’s era really began to take shape with Paradise Towers. And whilst that second serial, Delta and the Bannermen and Dragonfire all had their flaws, there was plenty of promise too.
None of its stories is likely to be a fan’s favourite, but I am loath to judge season twenty-four too harshly, for all that it is probably the show’s weakest so far.
