Daleks’ Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D.

N.B. there might (or might not) be spoilers in this article!

In between seasons 3 and 4 of Doctor Who, England won the World Cup and The Beatles released Revolver. Of slightly less British cultural significance, Daleks’ Invasion Earth: 2150 AD was released in cinemas.

“Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Dr Who.”

Dr. Who, Daleks’ Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D.

Although it is much better than Dr. Who and the Daleks (which is, admittedly, not saying much), with a very strong supporting cast including Ray Brooks, Bernard Cribbins (yes, I did shout out ‘It’s Wilf, but young!’) and an especially creepy albeit brief performance from Philip Madoc, Daleks’ Invasion Earth: 2150 AD is still very, very poor, with the Robomen’s sub-Carry on musical motif the worst offender on an absolutely god-awful soundtrack.

All things considered, I’m thankful that they didn’t make that planned third film.
